Does anyone know how to disable or hide clients from searching Active Directory objects? I was able to disable the Active Directory folder in My Network Places so users can not browse it but unable to find a way to stop users from using "search" function. I still want the users to be able to search but not for AD objects. Thanks

And what about the ramifications of doing this? What if
Rob has Universal Groups? What if Rob has Exchange 2000
in his environment? What if Rob makes use of the UPN for
logons?

There are a good many things to take into account.
