Active Directory Permissions

Does anyone know or had experienced that after Active
Directory is performed , why the permissions didn't carry
over. We just installed active directory and for some
reason the group permissions didn't carry over.

Michael,

You had a stand alone server that was a member of a workgroup and you had
local security groups ( probably ) and had shared folders ( using those
local security groups ) and when you ran dcpromo on that server none of the
group permissions are there? Is this an accurate understanding of your
post?
