Active Directory Integrated DNS and multiple Domains

Can someone confirm something I ran across. Even thou
windows 2000 will let you create a single active
directory zone on a domain controller for multiple 2k
domains its not supported. From what I am reading it
seems once you make active directory integrated it can
only replicate changes between domain controllers in the
same domain.

OK makes sense if this means the zone can maintain
records of multiple 2k domains but will only replicate
the zone with other DNS servers in the same domain. Is
this right!

That is correct. Windows 2000 will only replicate zones within a domain.

In Windows 2003 you can replicate domains across any subset of DCs in the
forest.
