Active Directory and Windows 95

I have a Win 95 station supporting legacy equipment. It connects to the
server's shares as simply a workgoup computer. I read that 95 is not
compatible with AD, however, I don't need any further capability from the 95
machine other than to still be able to connect to the server's shared drive
(both on same LAN).

My question is: When I enable AD, do I loose this capability on the 95
machine to connect or does it need to have an AD client installed?

Thanks, bg

You will not loose connecitivity to the server after installing AD. The Win95 machine can still logon to the server. You don't need
the AD client either though it would be recommended.
Thank you,
