Active Directory

I am looking for an article that would have the official
word on using Active Directory with bastion hosts. I have
many web servers in an existing network and I am not sure
if Active Directory is a great idea.

If I can read an article from Microsoft that would accept
or reject the idea of AD on a public facing network this
would be the very beneficial.

Thank you in advance to all who reply.

Our 60,000 user AD environment is on a public facing network, what questions
do you have?

You can use Active Directory to manage your webserver fram, How ever this
should be another forest than the internal network if a such exist. Bastion
Host, are you thinking about the security lock down templates in Windows
Server 2003 Security Guide? If so i think you should use the IIS Member
server template.
