active desktop ticker wont update, the website i got it from isnt helpful, it
supposed to update every hour, but it will not... Help!!!!!!!1

What kind of firewall do you use?

If you use Windows XP with Service pack2 (SP2), windows firewall is
automatically enabled. If you use another program, please provide the name.

i have windows XP but not sure if its SP2

Right Click on My computer and select properties....you can see the operating
system and service pack under system. If it says Service pack 2, Go to
control panel and open security center from there. You can find the settings
for windows firewall in there.
