Active Desktop problems

I have active desktop enabled on my XP Pro, but I cannot get webpages to appear on my desktop. I can get pictures as a backround, but I cannot get the web page to display. Does anyone have any ideas on how to fix this

Try system restore.....It works for me

I actually had the same problem on my XP Home after trying a desktop software, which I uninstalled afterward.

Now my system was restored back to a point before the installation of that desktop software, and the Active Desktop is functioning normally, with the webpages shown on my desktop. I did tried several
options found on web, but all failed, and eventually chosen to restore my system.
