activation

i had a problem with xp. tried to do a restore and had
file errors on cd?. called and talked to microsoft
srx040617608157 got computer back up and running but need
to reactivate. use activate and just sit on blank white
screen, will not activate

Hi

See if you can Activate by typing or copy/paste the following into
Start>Run:

C:\Windows\system32\oobe\msoobe.exe /A

You'll have to allow 'Microsoft Out of Box Experience' access to the
Internet.

no same thing...it pops up activation screen but its just white.never does anything
