Activation

How do you activate microsoft after you've used up the maximum times you can
access without activating? I have been to the help button through windows on
the tool bar but it keeps telling me a can't activate it this way. How else
can i do it or do i have to re-install everything? Help!!
 
Does it give you a phone number to call?
