Activation Trouble: Access (Premium 07) Trial with Retail Home 07

What I am trying to do:
I have an installed, retail version of Office Home and Student 2007. I would
like to try MS Access 2007, and tried a custom installation of just Access
from the Office Professional Trial. My operating system is Vista.

The problem:
Unfortunately, I am unable to activate the trial version of Access. The
several times that I have tried, the activation screen appears, the progress
bar fills half way, then the screen disappears without further messages.
However, when I go to use the program I get a message saying the application
is disabled. Additionally, when returning to my other office applications (eg
Word) I find that I have to reactivate them before using.

If I could somehow dictate a solution to the problem:
I would prefer not to have to uninstall (and then reinstall later) my Home
and Student Version if possible. I would also prefer to have free tickets to
Disney World...just in case anyone was thinking of throwing some away...

Thank you for your help in advance!

GUNDEMIR,

I am not familiar with the syntax of the posts here, but I am unable to tell
if you were trying to direct me to another page, if you accidentally sent a
reply without including your text, or if something else is happening here. In
any case, I am still interested in finding a solution to my problem and would
appreciate anyone's help.

Thanks,
SME

OK, just in case someone runs across this post later I have found that my
trouble was the activation of the trial version was being blocked by my
antivirus software firewall (AVG) and as soon as I disabled it then I was
able to activate the trial version. Additionally, it appears that I am able
to have both the trial version of Access 07 and the Home and Student retail
version running simultaneously on one computer.

Best, SME
