Activation Setup Error

I got this with my new computer and my trial expired. When I go to activate
Microsoft Word a popup says: 'The setup controller has encountered a problem
during install. Please review the log files for further information on the
error.'
I've looked at the log files and don't know what the problem is. Help!

I too am having this problem. My trial, as far as I know, never happened. I
have pretty much always gotten this error for the past year (when I purchased
the computer). I have had no problems until today. I cannot even use any of
the programs nor activate them properly because of this error. Please help!
