Activation Problem

Jolt

I have been using Windows XP for quite awhile now and
every format and re-install Windows has been fine and
activated. Now it seems that something has gone wrong,
and I can only activate Windows XP via the telephone
option. Could something be wrong with my hardware
creating this problem? I have not changed any hardware
that would invoke problems of that sort. Thank you in
advance for any help you can provide. [was also wondering
if the activation server might be down]

How many times have you reformatted and reinstalled Windows XP?

Too many activations in a relatively short period have been known to
cause automatic activations over the internet to fail. However the
telephone activation should still be available with no difficulty.

Good luck
