actually, it doesn't matter if you have activated winxp before installing a
software from the net or not. just make sure you make a restore point BEFORE
you install a software so that you can restore your winxp settings prior to
the installation if and when you decided that the software you have
downloaded is of no use, does not meet your criteria, or simply does not
work,
