Activation error

We have 1 day left for activation and the error message
says unable to activate because local scripting has been
disabled. Any ideas how to enable local scripting? I
can't find any clear documentation on the subject.

I checked and reset IE Security options to default and
enabled script debuging but no luck.

There are only two (2) methods to activate Windows XP:

1) via the internet

2) via the telephone

I suggest you select the option to "activate by telephone".
When you select this option, a list of toll-free numbers should
appear.

Since it the activation program errors out before he gets a chance to
choose the telephone option, how is he suppose to do it, MicroMoron?

Here's what I suggest you do. Try reading the whole post before

Are you logged on with an Administrators account? If you are, try
reinstalling Windows Scripting.
