Hi
After installing Vista premium on a new self built system i've gone pass the
activation date and have been kind of locked out.
I was going to register on line but my broadband package was not compatiable
with vista hence the delay. Now that braodband is compatiable vista wont let
me install the software to go online and activate.
Is it best that i boot from my CD Drive and reinstall and try again or is
the another option please help
Thanks
Karl

Boot Vista, start tapping the F8 when you see the first boot screen. Keep
tapping until you see advanced boot options and select "Safe Mode." In safe
mode, find the Windows Activation shortcut on the Start Menu. If you can't
access the Internet because you are in Safe Mode, choose the option to
Activate by Phone.

There should be an option to activate by phone. It's an automated, yet
annoying, way to activate Windows.
