When i try to activate windows i get a message saying ,
unable to establish connection with the server please
check network setting and confirm you are able to connect
to the internet then try again , well my internet is
working fine but not shaw where to start with network
sittings, does someone have a sugestion

Hi Mark,

The message you're getting is what usually happens when you try to open a
Web page when you're not connected. You need to connect to your Internet
Service Provider first, and then activate Windows online.

I am on cable and internet connection is fine and
connected all the time

First get on the net, and make sure you can reach say www.microsoft.com
in your browser.

Then Start - All Programs - Accessories - System Tools - Activate
Windows
and take the 'activate on the internet now' option.

Trying to let it dial up for itself often seems to give trouble
