Activating an MSDN product key

I installed using a non-MSDN version of XP and now I need to activate it
using my MSDN product key.

Is this possible? It's telling me invalid product key?

Ouch. That's what I was afraid of. Is there anyway to do a reinstall like
an upgrade with the MSDN media so I don't have to completely rebuild the
machine?
