Activate Windows

I have windows XP, and my situation is that now every time I turn my computer
on it says, 'This copy of windows must be activated with microsoft before you
can log on.' Then it gives me the option of yes or no for to activate
windows, I say yes. Then another screen comes on labeled, 'Activate Windows',
windows product activation. But on that screen it says, 'window is already
activated. click okay to exit. Then i click okay, but it doesn't connect.
It seems to continue to try and log off.
The situation, I took my computer to one of the local computer fix it
stores and had a bigger hard drive put on it around Nov 3rd. At the same
time they had to put XP and a few other programs back onto my computer for
some reason. Then I recently had them put a faster processor on there also.
All of a sudden around last week I started to notice that every time I
would turn my computer on there was a countdown to the number of days to
activate my windows, I didn't pay it any mind, because I just assumed that it
was the trial period of the spydoctor that they installed on there also. But
when I came home yesterday when the final day of the countdown was over and I
couldn't get onto my system. I was at a lost.
Now I have added a -creative webcam nx'; -a wireless keyboard and
optical mouse (which are microsoft products); and a new printer (lexmark
Z515). Would any of those product be the reason why I am getting locked out
of my computer. Or for some reason the computer company installed a version
of XP and didn't register it or something.
Sorry for the lengthy question, and thanks in advance

That is simple , If you were to actually purchase a
windows xp copy then you wouldn't have that problem. So
go buy a license copy

Any hardware changes windows record a value of 1 except for NIC adapter as
3. When the total reaches 7 in 120 days, you must activate XP again. A mobo,
can have more than 7 depending what is on the MoBo.
