Action canceled and Favorites

I posted earlier this month with a problem accessing my company's Outlook
Web Access. I kept getting the "Action canceled" error after logging-in.
Here's a link to the thread on Google Groups:

It was NOT a problem with the hosts file, spyware, ad-ware, or browser
hijack. I only get the error if I click on a Favorite in the Links toolbar
to visit the Outlook Web Access site. If I manually type the URL into the
address bar, or copy/paste it into the address bar I can login fine!

There was a previous post about this same bug last November. Here's a link
to it in Google Groups:

There was never any resolution, is this a bug? Does anyone know what causes
it? IE is certainly not behaving as it should.

See if the problem described in this article is related to your case.
This suggests there may be a problem with session cookies.
If that is the case you may have to choose a different URL to save.

A common related problem is a user trying to save a "backdoor"
link to a site without realizing that there is a cookie which needs to be
*presented* with that URL. It may work fine for months until the web site
decides to change the format of the cookie. Then the user will get strange
symptoms, including erroneous messages which tell him that his browser
does not support cookies!

Nope that's not the issue. The saved link is to my login page, not the page
after I'm logged in. Also, the link works fine when typed or copied into the
address bar. The only time it doesn't work is when I click the Favorite for
it.

The saved link is to my login page

That sounds like a back door link. Find the page which led you to that
page and make it a Favorite. There will be a Cookie which has to be
presented to use the login page. The page which led you to the login
page will be safe to use as a Favorite if it doesn't require a Cookie.

the link works fine when typed or copied into the address bar.

Try deleting the saved Cookie and see if it still works... ;)

It's not a back door link, and it's the only one I have. There is no other
page I go to first. I've already tried empty the cache and cookies.
