Act to outlook

I have never worked with outlook, yet we have purchased
the 2003 outlook for our mail server. My question is: can
I import my contact and database from Act to Outlook?
would it look the same? Can the new Outlook do the things
we used to do with Act? contacts, mail merge and
etc..Thanks for your help

I thank you for the info, but have you got any other idea
beside this. They want to charge up to 50 some dollar for
each user for this util.
Thanks for your help

I'm not that familiar with current versions of Act! File | Import in
Outlook 2003 will import from some versions of Act!. You might start there.

As for same capabilities -- Office 2003 will do mail merges, though there
may be some hurdles in terms of the functionality. It does do contacts and
all that but without knowing what you do with Act! I can't really say if
you'll also be able to do it in Outlook.
