Is there someone who knows if the Power Management Clock
updates the system time in an ACPI uniprocessor PC?
Starting last week about every other day, the system time
on my PC intermittently counts an extra one to nine seconds
in a minute. The hardware real time clock display is
correct on the main bios screen.
When this happens, the only problem I've noticed is that
the QuickTime Sorenson decoder will play the audio stream
out of synchronization. Other decoders will playout ok.
