Acheving emails create Duplicates

I achieved my emails in outlook but instead in created duplicate copies. It
did not move the messages to the achieve folder but instead copy the
messages to the achieve folder. How do I correct this?

"Achieved"? Do you mean "archived"?

Do you have a rule set up to do this or are you using autoarchive? If the
former, be sure to include the "stop processing more rules" action on the
rule.
