Account-switch window

If there is a lull in my activity, the account-switch
window comes up and I have to log into my account again.
How do I set this automatic cut-off time?

Hi Brad,

there are few possible locations, but let's try this one first.

Right click on your desktop and go to Screen Saver tab. Uncheck "On resume,
password protect" next to Wait X minutes...

I hope this helps you out,

Hi Brad
If you've not changed the screen saver properties this what should happen if
you leave the machine alone for 10 minutes and then disturb the screen
saver. Go in to the display properties (right click on desktop >
Properties), then select the screen saver tab. If you want to display the
welcome screen if you leave the system for a longer amount of time you can
change the period of inactivity before the screen saver kicks in here. If
you don't want to be returned to the welcome screen should the screen saver
activate uncheck 'on resume, display welcome screen'.

Others have already mentioned screensaver settings. Also take a look in
Power Management settings (Control Panel> Power Options> Advanced). You'll
find another setting in this location that can be toggled to require/not
require a password on resume.
