Check to see if this user has any services that are running under their
logon; it is common for a user to forget to change the password in the
service after they have changed their domain password. Persistently mapped
drives that hold cached credentials could be another culprit. Also make
sure you do a virus scan as well (http://housecall.trendmicro.com/).

There are many great Account lockout tools available at:

Hope this helps-

Check to see if the user recently changed their password.
Sometimes what happens a user changes their password and
they have mapped drives, etc... the mapped drives are uing
the old password. Have them reboot if they haven't
recently and see if this helps. Microsoft has a tool that
can help resolve some of these problems. Go to the
knowledge base and look for altools - Account Lockout
tools. This was a big problem for us after we went to sp4
we got them all resolved but it took a while.
