As I opened up my document in Word 2002 for XP a pop-up box appeared that I
clicked away. After doing so my document became blank and I realized that the
box had asked if I wanted to modify it. How do I get my old document back?
Help!

You probably don't - though without knowing what message you 'clicked
through' it is impossible to say. Do you have Word configured to
automatically create a backup when you save? If you do you can try again
with that.

What's the point of Microsoft including warning messages if you are not
going to read them?

See the answer to "I saved over a word document that I need to use" posted
