accidently deleted word

So I was trying to download a free trial of powerpoint and something went
wrong and I ended up deleting the copy of Word that was already on my
computer. I have no idea how it happened, but I really need to get it back.
Any suggestions?
 
I don't think you can get a free trial of Powerpoint by itself. You
probably installed a free trial of Office, which includes Word, Excel,
Powerpoint, and some other things. When you installed the trial
software, you had the option to keep your old versions of
Word/Excel/Powerpoint alongside the trial versions, or to replace the
old versions with the trial versions. If you are certain that the old
version of Word has been deleted, then you apparently chose the latter.
You should have a trial version of Word on your computer now. If you
want your old version of Word back, then reinstall it from your
Word/Office CD.
