Accidentally made wrong disk Active

Today I was trying to change a drive letter in the Disk
Management Plugin and accidentally clicked "Mark Partition
Active" which is right above the "Change Drive Letter and
Path..." option. Oops.

Now a non-bootable drive is marked Active rather than my
C: drive. I cannot see how to change it back. The C:
drive is still marked as System. I have not rebooted
yet. How can I change the active drive before I try to
reboot?

You don't actually say so but I assume that you marked
a partition on your second disk as active. Don't worry about
it - Win2000 will still boot from the active partition on your
first (your "Master") disk.

If you ever need to then you can easily set a partition to
Active like so:
- Get a Win98 boot disk from www.bootdisk.com
- Boot your PC with this disk
- Run fdisk
- Select "Set partition to Active"

Yes, you are correct, it was a secondary drive.

Whew! Thank you for your quick response. That put my
mind at ease.
