I was trying to set-up security permission to a access database folder and
files and some how I have accidentally locked the application to a point
where I can not open the application with the logon ID's and passwords that
was used.

Question, How can I remove the permissions and restore the application to
it's default permission? I have tried uninstalling the office 2000 product
and re-installed it and I get the same result.

Help!!!!!!

Thanks
LeRoy

Do you have a backup copy of your application prior to setting security?

The first step when applying security is to make a copy. Where is that
copy??

While it is possible, there is no easy back door. There are services
that will crack it for you, but it is not free.
