Accidentally deleted file

I was switching disks back & forth between my mobile computer (Win XP Home
Edition) which is not internet connected for security reasons, and my
regular systems with Win XP Pro. I had a Zip disk in the mobile (laptop) and
accidentally deleted a valuable legal file. I tried the recover command, but
it said the Zip disk was FAT format and it couldn't recover it. What
alternatives do I have. Do I have any? The Help info said "undelete" is not
supported by Win XP. Help!
