accidental format

I need to know if there is any way to recover a drives
data after it was accidentally reformatted I stopped
using this drive and it appears blank without an
opperating system... I have more than 1 pc to help out but
this drive has the hpfs format on it....the recovery cd
started the format abd was aborted soon after it said
formatting drive.....any help would be apreciated GREATLY
I have over 120 gig of data in it (I hope it can still be
recovered) Please respond to my email address as I can't
always get online...

The fundamental issue is, of course, that all important
data must be backed up on a weekly basis. With disk
prices as low as they are these days, there is no excuse
to ignore this rule.
