accidental deletion

How can I retrieve a saved document that was accidentally
deleted from microsoft word? Can it be copied from the
hard drive and how?

First, and most obvious, place to check is your recycle bin

If it's not there, Select the Tools.Options... dropdown from your Microsoft Word menu bar, then select the "File Locations" tab. If you have AutoRecover Files enabled, you can find the path where it is saving the files to. Copy the path and paste it into the navigator address bar

If it's not there...your guess is as good as mine
