accessing windows explorer namespace

wow! this is way over my head. is there any example how to access a
namespace from windows explorer wiht VB.NET, not C++? A vendor (Honeywell)
creates a namespace in windows explorer for its DCS file structure and i
would like to access it (copy files...) from VB.NET. Thanks.
