I have a dual boot XP system. The main drive has a corrupted registry and
I cannot boot to it. How can I get my existing Outlook with its messages
accessed from the other boot drive until I get the registry fixed?

Just point Outlook to the .pst file on the other partition and start using
it.

I installed Outlook on the other partition and tried to run it. It told me
"Unable to open your default mail folders because a location to send or receive
mail could not be found. To add a location such as a personal folder file,
double click on the mail icon in the Windows Control Panel". Then it asks me if
I would like to open my default folder. I tried this and got what looked like
a cross between Outlook and the Windows explorer. I could not find any way to
import the .PST file. There was a menu item that tried to read my floppy
though.

I set her up with Outlook Express to get e-mail for now. This had her old OE
address book, which has some of her addresses that work. But when she tries to
add an address it says it is write protected. When she clicks on the address
book, nothing happens.
