accessing my website through frontpage

After re- installing front page, I finally accessed all of my website files.
(My computer had crashed). I can get into the edit mode and make changes to
the files. It saves the changes to the file, but not to the website itself.
When I try to publish it gives me a message that the website is either in an
unavailable location or protected by a passcode. It won't allow it to be
opened or changed. Before re installing front page, I always had to log on
with a passcode as webmaster. Now it doesn't even show that prompt. Any
suggestions are appreciated.

Somewhat similar to an issue I am having and that I've noted a bunch of
others as well. Am posting here just to keep tabs on the replies you get.
(you can read my thread in this same forum, posted on July 2nd I think and
entitled Frontpage Publishing Host header password problem)

Are you opening your FP site using File Open Site
Before opening a page to edit in FP?
