Accessing local NTFS partitions without assigning driveletter?

T

Tor Arne

Hey folks!

I was wondering; is it possible to access a local NTFS partition without
assigning a driveletter?

I'm using Win2000 and XP..

Also, is it possible to assign or remove driveletters with WMI/WSH? If so;
how?

Thank you very much in advance for your help!!

You could use a mount point, as described here:
