accessing infected files

I have ran several removal programs and have tried to manually delete several files on my computer. the message is always "access denied make sure the disk is not write protected or full". I have disabled system restore. And, I am not able to download MS03-26 from windows update.can anyone out there help delete these files. The files are infected with the Agobot worm and are located in C:\windows\system32

Go to the link below for instructions on removal,you
will need the EXACT name of the agobot you have there are
several variations and the removal for each type may be
different.

Try the following for a possible solution:
1. Reboot your computer
2. Hold down the Shift key while logging on (bypasses
startup programs)
3. Update your virus definitions.
