access web link from email message

I am no longer able to click on a link in an email message and automatically
be sent to internet explorer and the web page. It was working a few weeks
ago. I have restored to a previous day but it has not helped my situation.
Any suggestions are welcome.

Reset your websettings;
Control Panel-> Internet Options-> tab Programs
