ACCESS TO WORD

Hi smart people. I have 2 tables that are not related.
One gives addresses of patients and the other has
medications. ANY patient can be put on any of the
medications and the medication table also calculates
doses so it exists as a query. Question one can they be
combined in some way so that I have one query to merge to
word. If Not is there a way to merge two different tables
or queries in word

Is there a name or patient number field that has the exact same matching
name/number in both tables? If not you will need to create them. After
than it becomes easy.

It is not clear what you want to "merge" from the 2nd table?

I mean, for each letter, do you want the persons name, and then ALL of the
medication table to be shown in the document?

You might just make a report on the medication table, convert it to word,
and then cut and paste in the medication list. You then do a mail merge on
the patients list.

Since, as you mention, there is no relation between these two tables, then I
don't think it matters how you get the 2nd table of medications into the
word doc does it?

If you are looking for a one button merge to word, then I have a nice
working example. This example allows you to send ONE record to a word
template.
