Access to my documents folder with two hardrives

I NEED HELP

I just recently bought a new computer that had Windows Home Ed. installed. I put my old hardrive in the computer as an addition drive. Everything works but when I go to my old hardrive and try to open up the my documents folder with my user name on it, it says access denied. How do I get access to it
