Access to local drives using remote desktop

Using Remote Desktop on Windows XP Pro, I've checked the
box to allow access to my local drives, and yet I still
do not have access to them. The online help says
something about this access possibly being dependant on
network configuration--but gives no details at all. Does
any know or have any ideas on what may be blocking this
access?

You might look at the Group Policy that governs this. Make sure it is either "Not configured" or
"Enabled". See this page from the Resource Kit for details. Its under the "Client/Server data
redirection" section.
