Access to file is denied after cut and paste

Hi guys

I got a really weird problem. It occurs on just one of the partitons of my
2nd hard drive. when I cut a file and paste it somewhere else (on the same
partition). Further access to the file is denied. I can't open or delete it,
but the data is still there. however, Copy/paste still works!

This only happens on one partiton.

Any Ideas ?
 
Hi guys,

I've found out what the problem was and fixed it.

I had to change the permissions for that drive: Right
click>properties>security
( because I've got XP home I had to start in safe mode to see the security
tab)
