Access to email from another computer

Dumb and dumber

Call me thick but I don't know how to access my email on this computer from a
computer elsewhere. Can anyone help ???????? Many thanks.
 
For POP accounts, you can only get remote access to messages that are
still on the server (access via the webmail portal).
Who is your mail provider?
