access time problem, help plz

Hi, when i try to delete, open, right click, watch or listen to any file
there is a 10 second delay before the action is carried out. Of course it
hasn't always been like this, and i keep my computer runnign top notch
always. The harddive does not to be defraged, system restore does not fix the
problem i have no virus or spyware/adaware on my computer. If anyone could
ask question to further diagnose my problem i woudl appreciate it, or of
course a reslove.

Try ShellexView.

Thx for your input however this did not solve the problem. I tried disabling
everything and it had no impact on the problem. Remember this is when i try
to open the file(wether it be .mp3, .avi, .jpg) delete the file or right
click on the file. Is there a way to check if im missing a dll or registry
key? or some type of windows self analysis? Any further diagnosis is greatly
appreciated.
