I am trying to link or import a txt file with over 4000 records. I get an
error around 1300 rows and then the rest of the data is not imported/linked.

What's the error? Pretty hard to suggest anything without knowing that!

Hello Douglas,

The Import Text Wizard states; "Not all of your data was successfully
imported. Error descriptions with associated row numbers of bad records can
be found in the MS table 'ST_ProdShip_ImportErrors'.

ImportErrors = (Error, Unparsable Record, Row 1392. I am able to view this
row in my text file and it appears to be fine???? Any help you can offer is
very appreciated. Thanks!

So what is different about the record in row 1392? Are there fields longer
than other rows? Are there dates that aren't formatted properly in that row?
Are there missing fields?

Did you look in table ST_ProdShip_ImportErrors?

Hello Douglas,

Can I have your e-mail, so that I can send you the txt file for you to
review? There are errors so far on row 1392 and row 3679. Thanks!

Sorry, no. That's not how newsgroups work.

Paste the relevant details from the txt file here: I can't imagine it'll be
that much text. (Note that I'm not saying to attach the text file to your
post: merely to copy-and-paste the relevant lines.)

Hello Douglas,

Below is the line 1392's text.

5/18/2005 33220A-ATO 20 MHz Function/Arbitrary Waveform

It does not look any differant than the above lines.

And what does it say in ST_ProdShip_ImportErrors?

One thought: Do any of the successful rows have ampersands in them?
