Access shutting down when importing dbf!?

Access 2002 SP3

I am in the middle of a GIS project requiring Access and I am having major
problems, any halp would be greatly appreciated.

I am getting external data from dbf's and as soon as I finish browsing and
say open, Access immediatly shuts down, no error messages. I have tried using
backed-up data on another computer and that one gives me and error message of
"The search key was not found in any record".

I have no idea if this is a software/registry releated problem or a
data/file problem. Any ideas of where to go?

Hi Abridge,

Have you been using your DBFs successfully and the problem is a recent
change, or is this a new MDB? Are you connecting to the DBFs using ODBC? Do
you know which version of FoxPro the DBFs were created with, or are they not
FoxPro DBFs?
