Access Security 2000-2003

I had created a secured db in Access 2000 on the network drive. I created
and joined a secured workgroup for this db only and was able to re-join the
standard workgroup for all of my other databases. Everything was working
fine until I got a new PC on Friday with Access 2003. I am now only able to
join one workgroup at a time meaning I either have to log on to all my
databases with my secured db password or I can't get into my secured db even
with the shortcut using the path to my secured workgroup.

Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

I can't get into my secured db even
with the shortcut using the path to my secured workgroup.
This doesn't make sense. The preferred method for switching to a workgroup
is via a desktop shortcut, which you say doesn't work. If you get the "you
do not have sufficient permissions" error message using your shortcut then
either there is something wrong with the command line or the mdw file isn't
what it should be.

Firstly, check the shortcut command line which should be in the format:

"Full path to MSACCESS.exe" "Full path to mdb" /wrkgrp "Full path to
workgroup"

including the quotes. If that is OK then I suggest checking that the mdw is
in the state you expect it to be.

Keith.
