access right between two xp pro

I have two xp-sp2 pro connected together in the same workgroup in the same
subnet. These two xps connect to each other standalone. They do not connect
to any other computers or network. Two can ping each other and can also see
the computer name of each other under Microsoft Windows Network. I wonder how
can I grant one xp the access right to another xp? I have disabled the
firewalls. I tried "Access this computer from the network" under Local
Security Settings, but it seems that it does not allow me to add a computer
from a workgroup.

Is there a way to give access right to one xp to access another xp under the
same workgroup?

Thanks

Hello Malke,

Thank you for reply. However, I'm asking simply how to share files between
two xp pro. Actually file sharing is working well without any problem. What I
would like to have is to grant the access right to a remote xp, so that the
client program can access the server program each on a seperate xp without
any limitation, such as a Com+ client accessing a Com+ server through
application proxy. When I need to access a resource (file) on a remote xp, I
do not want to explitly make any folder as "shared" in advanced.

Do you think we can do that with xp pro?

Thanks
