Access Project and SQL Server Connection Problem

Hi Folks, help required please. I have an access project application which
connects to a SQL server database over our (subnetted) LAN. Here's the
problem if the users tries to use the application it returns an error that it
cannot establish a connection, yet if a I map a network drive (even
temporarily) to the SQL Server Box and then try the application it works a
treat. The connection string uses the server IP address although DNS
(different server) is configued and correct for the SQL Server.

Any ideas, thanks in Advance
 
Are you talking about "Access Project" (*.adp/*.ade file, it is new type of
access file since Access2K)?
