Access of Address Book

Larry

I am continually receiving a message saying a program is
trying to access my addresses and asking that I allow this
access for a particular amount of time. Is there a way to
find out what program is making this attempt and/or stop
this request?

Hi Larry -
I am getting the same thing - driving me crazy. What OS
and Outlook are you using? If I find anything I will let
you know. I have already added myself as a trusted
publisher but it has not stopped it.
Thanks,
Lynn -

It's likely an add-in. Check Add-ins and COM add-ins in Tools, Options,
Other, Advanced Options. Post a list of the add-ins you have. You might also
want to post your Outlook version and OS version just for more information.

I am using XP Pro and my original Outlook didn't do this
until my last upgrade with the Outlook Patch. I am
wondering if that had something to do with the problem.

The Add Ins are Outlook Sync; Net Folders; MSFS Menu
Extentions; MSFS PropSheet Extentions; Exchange Extentions
Property Page. The Com add-ins lists only Outlook
Synchronization.

Is it possible that the program is only my Clie trying to
do something when I hotsync it with my calander? The rest
of the add-ins seem pretty innocuous.

I have not added any new antivirus beyone the ones that I
have had for the last year. This problem only started
about 3 days ago.
