When using any Office 2003 programnom my computer, I cannot access Micosoft
Offiice Online when I click the HELP Icon. I get this warning: "This
operation ahs been cancelled due to restrictions in effect on this computer.
Please contact your system administrator." Since this is my home desktop, I
am not on any net work and I turned of Norton Internet Security which
includes the firewall and it still does not work. Any ideas?

Tom

You may have another firewall, such as the one in WinXP-SP2 running. Or
Norton may still be running "under the covers". Make sure you kill the
process if you see it still running after looking at running processes in
the Task Manager.

Arvin:

Thanks for your note. I am running Windows Professional SP4. I turned of
Norton IS and then when to task manager and did not see anything of Norton
running and them I tried it again and it still does not work. I check the
Internet Connections and all look normal to me. I don't have any trouble
connecting with IE or Netacape but, MS Office will not allow access to the
interned when I click on the Help-, Assistance, Training, Downloads, Contact
Us from any office program. Any other !deas?

The only other thing that I can think of is that you chose to turn off
online help by default during the install. You might be able to turn it on
again from the Task Pane (on the right side of the computer when you open
Access).
